Velocity and Acceleration

This video clearly explains Velocity and Acceleration. It uses many examples such as a toy car, and a real car in order to explain both concepts. Velocity is distance over time or v=d/t, while acceleration is change in velocity over change in time or a=delta v/ delta t. By measuring the distance and time, she was able to determine the velocity and acceleration of the toy car. Afterwards, she gives you a real life example, using a real car. This is a great source to use in order to understand velocity and acceleration!

  1. What an awesome video... and I am not just saying that because of the music involved. Althought the video has its good and bad moments I like how the video explanes acceleration and how to calculate it. I also liked how the video incorperated formuals used and gave a clear explination of what occurs when a car decreases velocity. The video begis to disscus acceleration and velocity when an obect is free falling. This idicates that the video clearly explains all aspects of accleration and velocity.
